Verified Audio & Video

SONITROL's verified, patented audio and video intrusion detection system is one of the most powerful tools you can add to your security arsenal.

The Challenge with Non-Verified Alarms

If it’s not verified, it’s simply guessing.

Non-verified alarm systems pose two challenges to business owners and emergency services: an increased risk of false alarms and slower police response times.

False Alarms

False alarms can be costly to you, your business, and the community. A false alarm can divert police time and resources from other emergencies and cost you and your business in false alarms fees. Additionally, many cities now require a form of security verification to dispatch police and emergency services.

Slower Police Response Times

On average, police arrive on the scene of a traditional, non-verified alarm within 45 minutes. By the time they arrive, an intruder could have already caused significant damage and fled the scene. In fact, apprehension rates for traditional alarms are so low (less than 1%)* that there’s typically a low probability of you recovering any business losses.

Our Solution

Verified Audio & Video Intrusion

With a verified SONITROL intrusion alarm system, law enforcement prioritizes response to the alarm, reducing potential loss to your business and increasing the chance of criminal apprehension.

Our Verified Intrusion System

The Technology

Unlike conventional alarms, our verified alarm systems are sound-based – not motion-based. Our verified audio intrusion system provides wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling volumetric protection using patented audio detection technology via an Audio Sensor. The SONITROL Audio Sensor can work as an impact-activated audio and a glass break detection device by analyzing in real-time the sounds of your protected facility. This unique technology can also be paired with Video Verification to give SONITROL Central Station Monitoring Professionals eyes into your facility, allowing more accurate information to be relayed to emergency dispatch.

How It Works

When an alarm is triggered, our highly-trained monitoring professionals will listen and watch to determine whether a break-in is in progress.

If it is a break-in, we immediately dispatch police and relay real-time information to the responding officers. If it’s a false alarm, we reset the system without bothering you or the police.

Giving law enforcement this valuable, detailed information about where an intruder is located in the facility, provides extra safety for responding officers and increases the chance of criminal apprehension.

Worried about an incident during business hours? Adding hold-up alert capabilities through a panic button to your system can automatically activate a live audio and video surveillance feed in the event of a robbery or emergency event.
