Sam continues his Grandfather Doc’s legacy as owner and president. From his early teens, Sam has worked for SONITROL in many roles, from installer to security design consultant, eventually taking management and ownership reins. In his spare time, Sam and his wife, Mollie, enjoy boating with their three beautiful children.

About Us

In 1969, Dr. William Standring, “Doc”, opened SONITROL to provide verified alarms to the community and help police increase apprehensions. For over fifty years, we have helped apprehend criminals and protected commercial properties, all while maintaining a family dynamic and small business atmosphere. Today we offer Verified Audio Detection, Verified Video Monitoring, Cameras & DVRs, UL Fire Systems, Access Control, Medical Pendants, and Panic Buttons. Our team monitors our services from our own UL-Certified Central Station in downtown Evansville.
