Sonitrol Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned Financial Executive Harold Earley Joins Company

(February 20, 2007) - Sonitrol Corporation, the leader in verified electronic security, today announced the appointment of Harold Earley to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Earley brings over 20 years of diversified financial experience to bear on the organization, with a strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls and business processes.

“Harold has extensive experience in banking, capital markets and with M&A transactions, and is ideally suited for the role of CFO during this exciting time for Sonitrol,” said Sonitrol Chairman and CEO Kevin Dowd. “We have aggressively grown the company through a series of acquisitions, the expansion of our National Accounts program, and the steady execution of the business plan put in place by our ownership group. We are very pleased to have Harold join the company at this time.”

Prior to joining Sonitrol, Earley was the CFO of Celetronix International, Ltd., a $300,000 million international provider of electronic manufacturing services with over 7,000 employees based in Simi Valley, CA. Before that, Earley was Senior Vice President of Finance at Amkor Technology, Inc., a $2.5 billion provider of semiconductor packaging, test and wafer fabrication, with operations in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Earley replaces Tom Breslin who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

“We would like to thank Tom for the tremendous work and dedication he has given to Sonitrol over the past three years,” said Dowd. “Tom joined the company in 2004 and was instrumental in the acquisition of 12 Sonitrol franchises, the increase of credit facility, and multiple process-based initiatives that have considerably strengthened Sonitrol’s financial position. We wish Tom the best of luck in his new endeavors.”
