Sonitrol Pacific-Boise got their first apprehension this past weekend! Sonitrol Pacific-Boise shares with us that their operator-on-duty received a verified audio break-in alarm activation at 5:19pm from a retail business located in Boise, Idaho. The operator wasted no time dispatching after hearing the door alarm and sounds of movement coming from inside the facility. Apparently, when the police arrived on the scene, they found an unlocked door and three juveniles (approximately 12 years old) with bags of coins including a ring of master keys to all the vending machines. This would have been any kid's dream, but the operator managed to alert the officials in time and crushed the three juveniles' dream of having a lifetime of free candy!

At 4:03am, Sonitrol of Baltimore's operator received an audio alarm activation at a local bicycle retail outlet and verified sounds of loud crashing noises and voices. The customer contact was notified of the alarm activity and indicated that he would be on his way to meet the police at the store. Soon after, a Baltimore police officer called back and said that they were able to apprehend two suspects when they arrived on the scene. Apparently, there were more than 2 suspects involved in this incident, but the others managed to get away for now. The suspects gained entry to the store by smashing the glass out of the service doors with a fire extinguisher and then prying the doors open. Approximately six bikes were taken as a result, but three were quickly recovered. Thanks to the partnership between Sonitrol and the Baltimore police in making this apprehension - the perpetrators managed to peddle their way into police custody!
