Sonitrol Works Together To Support a School Effort in San Jose, CA

Sonitrol's success with schools is all about building the right relationships."Sonitrol is proud to provide safety for the students, staff, and property of Notre Dame High School with the recent installation of a premiere Safety Zone system," said Rachel Palomino, Director of Educational/Municipal Safety at Sonitrol of San Jose. "The all-girls high school is complete with duress buttons, emergency strobes, and a unique fire protection system that is the first of it's kind to be installed at a school, by our dealership."

Palomino adds, "When the Notre Dame High School Director of Finance, Michael Booth, approached me to be a $2,500 sponsor, I realized this may be a challenge given today's economic environment. However, with the generous support of Paul Shumate of Pacific West Security, George Nicolino of Sonitrol Security Inc, as well as Tom Hinnau and Tom Patterson of Kimberlite Corp., we were able to contribute at the $2,500-Boulevard sponsorship level. This is a great example of how dealerships can work together to make a difference and support our efforts to put Sonitrol's name in the forefront of the educational community."

The event was attended by well over 300 guests, including local dignitaries and the "movers and shakers" of Silicon Valley. The gala luncheon, hosted at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown San Jose, included a silent auction and a professionally choreographed fashion show to raise funds for the Notre Dame High School's Tuition Assistance Program. Sonitrol's sponsorship included ten tickets to the gala luncheon and fashion show, as well as advertising in the program and press in the Downtown Magazine.

According to Notre Dame High School's Communication's Manager, Leslie Arioto, "Notre Dame has a wonderful partnership with Sonitrol. Not only has Sonitrol provided a safe campus for our students, it has embraced the total academic experience for every young woman who attends Notre Dame.
